As long as you know what you're doing and have good examples to prove it the degree doesn't matter as much
Is it hard to find a C++ programming job with only a AA (Assoc. in Programming)?
It will hurt getting your foot in the door, but certifications will help. In the interview you can prove your skill, however you still need to get the foot in the door. I would recommend attaching some examples of some code you have written along with your resume, with a brief note explaining that you wished to display some of your capabilities for the reader. That should help. good luck.
Reply:Most companies dont care what degree you have(well, actually they do to an extend). If your knowledge is beyond the AA level, as in if you have done some self-teaching then it probaly wont be so hard. Your degree isnt as important as your knowledge. If you are a person that knows what he's doing and is good at it, then it doesnt matter what degree you have(kind of). There are many companies that give a hands-on exam for the interview, so you can really excel at places like that if you are good at c++.
