37m india ,started learning software programming.what type of job %26amp;salary is expected after one year?
What is ur background? Why have u chosen C, C++.

Is it just bcause u started learning S/W only now or u think u can

swim in C++ Ocean bec C++ is not just what u learn about OOPS. Do u know why it is called OOPS, suppose when u fall

down what is ur instantaneous reaction, it is OOPS.

When someone fails then we say OOPS he has failed.

Now come to positive side , Success comes only after failures .

There are so many stories. I will tell u one such story.

A group of people started digging beleiving there could be a treasure under , they worked for several days but started feeling

okay there is no point digging further lets give it up.

Another group who also believed that there could be treasure , but they started all over again as the place where they had dug was closed again. They started digging for several days, the group which has an experience digging at the same place started irking and was thinking within themselves what a fool they are ?

The group which is now in operation came to the stage where the first group had left , but amazingly they started digging further and was really rewarded for giving the extra effort, so don't get disheartened even when u r failing in a few interviews, beleive me or not interviews prepare u for a better person . Too many failures makes u study again where u have not bothered too much.it gives immense confidence bec u have learnt more in depth than a person who is successful in a few attempts.

But don't think people who are successful in a few attempts are always successful bec they don't know what failure is?

but since u know more about it it enriches u with more knowledge.

Whatever is ur line of choice , be strong in Basics , bec in Interviews often Basics are tested .

For eg: they might ask u How u can Implement a Friend Function in Real world Applications. How do make use of virtual functions.

How can u implement for eg: Stacks , etc, etc.

everything in real world is Objects. so it is easier applying OOPS concept provided ur basics are strong. Please don;t bother about salary although i know it is a must but try to make amends and compromise bec u r new to the industry and there r plenty of guys waiting in Queue, so salary comes in ur way once u have the essential skills , please don't convert the knowledge into salary although ultimatel it gets converted, only try loving what ever u do, things will fall in place , DONT EVER GIVE UP.

Job postings at websites like Monster, Yahoo HotJobs and Careerbuilder carry information about salaries. The Govt Dept of Labor, (www.bls.gov) Bureau of statistics has information about median salaries for different professions and details of additional compensation offered. Other online resources are salary.com and payscale. Your salary will also depend on your educational qualification and how you handle your career. Reply:You would also continue with C and C++ if you have interested in this language but as per my point of view i would suggest you to try your hand on .NET Technology you can also work on C#.Net which is booming in nowadays and also in feature.

In Terms of Salary you have to started as juniour programmer after getting experienced of one or two year your salary would be about 10 to 12 thousands. Salary depends upon your experienced.
