If you really want to go to Cornell I would apply early decision. This gives you the option of being deferred instead of simply rejected so in a way you are giving your application a second chance.

Good luck!
Reply:Early decision is for people who are 1. 100% sure about what school they want to go to and 2. have credentials that are good/great enough so that they would be accepted RD without a problem. (I learned this from the Washington University in St. Louis rep).

Your GPA, to be honest, is not elite. However your course selection is excellent. Your ECs are out of this world. Your test scores are pretty good. They won't hurt you.

Based on this I would advise you to go ED.

Also if you want a percentage chance of getting in, go to www.mychances.net and enter in your stats. It will not take your ECs into consideration, so whatever percentage it gives you will be low.

Good luck
