Can I have a career in Programming ( Software engineering )?

My major was electrical and computer engineering . I am looking for a technical /programming job .





Listed below are the only courses that I took in computer science .








Programming 1 ( with c )


Programming 2 ( with C++)


Computer architecture.


Discrete structures


Data Structures ( with java ) %26amp;


Operating Systems





All the rest were Math, English and Electrical engineering stuff..

Go for it. If you don't try you will never know. You don't want to spend your life surfing the net or playing games.
Reply:Yes, if you show the desire to do the job at the interview. Don't worry so much about what you learned in school. No one really expect new graduates to be experts when they get to the job. What we expect is that a new graduate/employee will be enthusiastic, a hard worker and dedicated to learn what they need to do in order be great employee.
